Leveraging a recent special issue in Frontiers in Public Health, the IAWA association and the National Children’s Center for Agricultural Health and Safety (NCCRAHS) out of the United States, sheds light on the health and safety of children in agriculture in Northern and Southern countries with an emphasis on family farm systems and supports the development of a network of scholars and practitioners working on these topics.

Leveraging a recent special issue in Frontiers in Public Health, the goal of this interactive webinar is twofold: - shed light on the health and safety of children in agriculture in Northern and Southern countries with an emphasis on family farm systems - and support the development of a network of scholars and practitioners working on these topics.

Read the synthesis report. All the presentations, except maybe for the US, clearly point the lack of data on the situations around children’s health and safety in agriculture. There is a tension between the laws that are on the books to protect the children and/or provide resources vs. what happens in reality.
